A Free Online Event for Cancer Survivors

If you have ever finished treatment and felt the world quietly expect you to move on while you were still standing in the wreckage of who you used to be and trying to figure out how to live in a body that does not quite feel like yours anymore...this event is for you.

I want to invite you into something I wish someone had offered me in the early weeks, months, and even years of survivorship: a real, human space where we move our bodies gently, learn about healing foods, and sit together with the identity questions that survivorship actually brings.

This is Life After Cancer: Where Do You Even Start? and it is completely free.

What We Are Doing Together

Guided Movement

We will start with a short, guided movement session designed specifically for post-cancer bodies. There are modifications for every ability level and progressions if you want a little more. The goal is to help your body remember that movement is still available to it, still safe, and still something you get to choose on your own terms.

And if you want to join but moving is not on the agenda for you that day? That is completely okay. You can sit right where you are, hold your cup of coffee, tea, or water, and keep 🐾Ernesto company until the next part. No performance required.

Three Healing Ingredients

We are spotlighting three real, everyday ingredients that support healing in the post-cancer body and talking about the actual science (with hilarious Fun Facts of course!) behind why each one matters specifically in the survivorship phase. These are things you can pick up at any grocery store and start using this week, with the full WHY behind each one so it actually sticks.

Two Writing Prompts from The Cancer Comeback Club

These are pulled directly from Week 1 of The Cancer Comeback Club, my 21-day survivorship re-entry program, and we are going to do them together, live. These are the prompts that help you begin to put language to where you actually are right now, in this real chapter, with the real version of yourself that showed up after treatment ended.

Who This Is For

This event is for cancer survivors who are somewhere in the re-entry phase of life after treatment. This gathering is for anyone in that process, whether you finished treatment recently or years ago and still feel like you are sorting through the pieces. Survivorship does not have an expiration date, and this gathering does not either.

Whoever you are, however you got here, you are welcome.

A Little About Me and Why I Built This

My name is Sara Broome. I am a colon cancer survivor, an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, a Plant-Based Nutritionist trained through eCornell's program based on the T. Colin Campbell research, a Cancer Wellness Coach, and the founder of The Cancer Comeback Club.

I also lived in the survivorship gap for years before I built my way out of it.

After four major abdominal surgeries, each lasting over five hours, I was sent home from the medical system with no rehab plan, no nutritional guidance, no mental health referral, and no real instructions for how to live in a body that had just been through something enormous. I spent years in daily pain, disconnected from my own body, quietly wondering why healing felt so impossible when treatment was officially over.

Eventually I built the program I wished someone had handed me. The Cancer Comeback Club is that program. Twenty-one days of gentle movement, reflection prompts, and food for healing, paced for real human beings in real cancer recovery.

A Note Before You Join

Your camera stays off if you want it to. This is your space, and you get to be in it exactly the way that feels right for you. Whether you show up with your camera on and your coffee in hand or you sit quietly in the background and just absorb, you are welcome either way.

This event will be recorded. A playback will be available so that if life, health, or the unpredictable nature of survivorship gets in the way, you will still have access to everything we did together.

🐾Ernesto is an 88-pound rescue dog and the unofficial healing assistant who will of course be front and center at the event.

Come as you are. Bring an 🐾Ernesto if you have one. Bring your coffee, tea, water, whatever you need. Bring the questions you have not been able to ask out loud yet.

The roadmap exists now.

💜 Sara and 🐾Ernesto
